Sunny Rajab founded BCS Consultants in 2001 after identifying a gap that was costing businesses time and money: the fragmented, multi-vendor approach to business technology. Organizations were managing separate contractors for their phone systems, data cabling, AV, and security — and absorbing the coordination headaches that came with it. Sunny built BCS Consultants as the alternative: one expert partner, fully accountable for it all.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine University and an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California — credentials that reflect both her technical depth and her approach to running a client-focused business. Her C-28 and C-7 licensed contractor status isn’t just a credential on paper. It reflects her core belief that you can’t lead a technology company without genuinely understanding the work your teams perform every day.

Over 25 years, Sunny has grown BCS Consultants into a nationally recognized, woman-owned, and minority-owned technology integrator trusted by organizations ranging from local businesses to Fortune 100 companies.

What sets Sunny apart is that she doesn’t just manage the business — she immerses herself in its work. Sunny personally ensures the operations of every technology solution BCS offers. Her philosophy: the best way to stand behind a solution is to understand it completely, from the spec sheet to the job site.

That principle drives how BCS evaluates the products it recommends. Every solution in the BCS portfolio goes through exhaustive in-house testing at the company’s Irvine facility before it’s ever proposed to a client. When BCS recommends a Crestron room automation system or a Verkada surveillance deployment, it’s because the team has run it, stress-tested it, and confirmed it performs.

Sunny also has a track record of adopting emerging technologies early — well before they become industry standard. BCS was ahead of the curve on cloud-based surveillance, advanced room automation, and Zoom-integrated AV systems. That foresight has made BCS a trusted technology advisor for clients who need to plan not just for today, but for where their business will be in five years.

Beyond Business: The Shayda Strong Foundation

In 2016, Sunny faced the most defining challenge of her life. Her five-year-old daughter, Shayda, was diagnosed with a rare Stage IV cancer and given a slim chance of survival. For nine months, their family navigated the terrifying landscape of pediatric oncology. Then Shayda beat the odds.

Moved by the strength Shayda showed and the community that rallied around their family, Sunny and Shayda founded the Shayda Strong Foundation — a pediatric cancer charity dedicated to supporting children and families in the same fight. The foundation provides encouragement, resources, and community to families who need it most.

Outside of BCS and the Shayda Strong Foundation, Sunny is a mother of two and a longtime supporter of charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the United Breast Cancer Foundation, Save the Children, and the Association for Homeless and Disabled Veterans. She actively mentors graduate students and business professionals, with a particular focus on empowering women in business and entrepreneurship.
